Steel frame with brick exterior.

B. PLANNING & CONSTRUCTION
1. On October 12, 1966, the Board of Trustees approved the plans and related documents prepared by C. Curtiss Inscho and Associates and authorized the solicitation of bids by contractors.
2. Bids were received on February 1, 1967 (T).
3. On February 9, 1967 the Board of Trustees approved the award of contracts based on the February 1, 1967 bids.
4. On March 9, 1967 the Board of Trustees approved new awards on the basis of a telephone poll of Board members conducted on February 23 and 24, 1967. This new action was taken because of the earlier plumbing bid was not in conformty with a Governor's Executive order regarding equal opportunity employment.
5. On April 13, 1967, following a court decision, the action of February 9, 1967 was reinstated.
6. On September 14, 1967 all previous actions were rescinded and new contract awards as follows were approved on the basis of August 25, 1967 bids (T):
General: Garwick and Ross
Plumbing: Sauer, Inc.
Heating, ventilating and air conditioning: Huffman-Wolfe Co.
Electrical: States Electric Co.
Equipment: Hamilton Equipment Co.
7. Completion and occupancy:
Certain storage rooms were released for use as early as November 12, 1969 (P). The building was fully released for use on March 8, 1972. (P)
